This Fishing Boy crib top quilt was so much fun to see come to life!! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for their next project!
Had so much fun with this quilt I made for my Grandson. I have never done embroidery, but had done needle punch with my Mom when I was younger…so I did some embroidery with help of great instructions from JDNA and needle punch from childhood. Thanks JDNA!!!
Thanks for donating the children’s embroidery blocks for our Project Linus quilts. I have finished 100 quilts for this year and over half of them were embroidery block quilts.

This is a mother daughter project, for the third great grandchild in our family. My mother who is 83, and I have been partnering on projects from Jack Dempsey needle art for several years. She does the embroidering and I am putting the blocks into quilts so that all of the grandkids will be able to have something that their grandmother made for their children, my mother’s great children. The third great grandchild will arrive in October 2016.
My first sampler and it won’t be the last. I usually stick to pillow cases. I love your patterns.
This was my very 1st quilt made, made for my Great Granddaughter. I entered it in the local museum show for Sunbonnet Sue competition. It won the People’s Choice Award.
I absolutely loved making this quilt! I make baby quilts for my family members, and select friends, as a way to honor my grandma, who made them for us growing up. I can’t bear to part with this one, and have it put away in hopes my husband and I will be blessed someday.
